This Privacy Policy describes how Teknik Inc. (doing business as Teknik Design & Remodeling, “Teknik,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit www.teknikinc.com (the “Site”) or contact us about a remodeling project.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit our consultation or contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number, zip code, and project description, and — if you choose to provide them — your street address, budget range, and ideal start date. If you call, text, or email us, we receive the information you share in that communication.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site. We also measure interactions such as clicks on our phone number, email address, and form submissions. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name. If you arrive from one of our ads and then submit a form, we keep the ad’s campaign details and click identifier with your inquiry so we can tell which advertising brings projects. Analytics and advertising measurement cookies are on by default outside the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland; visitors in those regions have them off until they accept. Session recordings. We use Microsoft Clarity to record interactions on public pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation, and create heatmaps to improve the Site. Recording runs only if you accept cookies in the cookie banner, and never before you choose or after you decline. Form input contents are masked, and our internal admin area is excluded. How we use your information
Phone inquiries. Our call tracking provider connects calls with website visits and advertising sources. Call details can include the caller’s number, call time, duration, and source. Calls may be recorded and transcribed, as announced when you call. We use this information to respond to inquiries and measure which advertising brings relevant projects. Qualified inquiry results may be sent to Google Ads to measure advertising performance.

- To plan, estimate, and deliver remodeling services you request;
- To improve the Site, our marketing, and our services;
- To protect against spam and abuse (our forms use automated spam filtering);
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing email lists — we contact you about your project.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and our business:
- Email delivery providers, to route your form submission to our team;
- Website hosting and content-delivery providers;
- Google Analytics, for the aggregate usage measurement described above;
- Microsoft Clarity, for session recordings and heatmaps described above;
- Call tracking providers and Google Ads, for inquiry and advertising measurement;
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Third-party content
The Site embeds YouTube videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (no cookies are set unless you play a video) and an interactive Google Map on our contact page. When you interact with embedded content, the third party may collect information under its own privacy policy.
Data retention & security
We keep project inquiries for as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal and contractual obligations, then delete or anonymize them. We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to team members who need it — though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to access it, to correct it, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use remarketing or personalized ads. You can turn off analytics and advertising measurement cookies at any time with Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of every page, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to turn off Google advertising measurement. Text messages
When you submit a form on the Site, we record your choice about project text messages, along with the date, the page used, and the wording shown to you. If you opt in, we use your phone number to send text messages about your project inquiry, appointments, scheduling, and project updates. Choosing not to receive texts does not prevent you from submitting a form or purchasing services. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Children
The Site is intended for homeowners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
