Two kinds of Carlsbad kitchens
Carlsbad is not one housing type. Older Village and Olde Carlsbad houses usually need light, storage, and a better path to the yard. Newer La Costa, Aviara, and Bressi Ranch houses are often fine on paper and still wrong for how the family cooks. The work is different. The city is the same.
That range is already how we describe remodeling on the Carlsbad service area page — coastal-bright updates in the older neighborhoods, and layout personalization in the newer tracts.

What we handle here
Design-build
Architectural planning, interior design, City of Carlsbad permitting, and construction sit on one team. You do not hire a separate architect for the kitchen.
Permits and review
Homes west toward the coast can fall under coastal-overlay rules for height and views. Newer tracts often have HOA design review. We prepare those submittals and run them next to the city permit, not after it.
Construction time
Construction on most kitchen remodels runs 6 to 12 weeks from the start of work. The schedule is written in the proposal before demolition.
What a kitchen costs
We do not publish a Carlsbad kitchen price. A number comes from the house: layout moves, cabinetry, and whether utilities have to travel. For San Diego cost ranges by scope, see the kitchen remodel cost guide.

Timelines vary with size and complexity, but most kitchen remodels are completed within 6–12 weeks from the start of construction. The schedule is written in the proposal before demolition.
No. Design is in-house. Architectural planning, interior design, City of Carlsbad permitting, and construction sit on one team — you do not hire a separate architect for the kitchen.
Depending on the scope, the kitchen may be out of use for portions of the remodel. We can help you plan a temporary setup to make the transition easier.
